Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
So many times in life you find that as you are growing, so many others are not. As we get older our lifestyles should change and advance. We should get better with time. Our life experiences should mold us into more mature individuals who want more out of life than the same old thing. Many of us want more out of life, have dreams, and are willing to work to get there. The problem majority of the time is that there is no guidance. People are lost and have no vision. They know what they want but don’t necessarily know how to get there. Too busy focusing on the lulls of today rather than how today can prosper their future. With this being the case, most find themselves in an insanity period doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.
Proverbs 12:15
The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice.
Sometimes we ask God or influential people in our lives for advice or guidance, but when it’s given we do not have an open heart to receive the criticism. The bible tells us the Lord loves those who he corrects. Understand that the truth hurts but if you don’t face it who are you ultimately hurting?
Job 5:17
Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.
