Disappointment

Matthew 10:31

So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
How often are the expectations that we set for ourselves or others somehow never attained? Disappointment is a terrible and overwhelming feeling. The feeling of failure and regret.  Whether it be with yourself because you aren’t where you would like to be or with that loved one who just doesn’t get it, remember it’s okay to have a moment of sadness but you must keep moving. The word tell us:

Psalm 30:5

 For his anger lasts only a moment,
 but his favor lasts a lifetime;
 weeping may remain for a night,
 but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Stay encouraged and remember that no one always stays on top. We all must crawl before we will walk. Do not to look at others situation and wonder why yours may not be going as well as theirs seems. You might see the glory but don’t know the story. Everything that glitters isn’t gold and Trouble doesn’t last always! I encourage you to take all those feelings of disappointment and turn it into something good. We are all conquerors!

Romans 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Until next time 🙂
