Fear

Psalm 27
The LORD is my light and my salvation—
       whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?

Whenever something is unknown we all tend to FEAR what may come. But if God be for us, then what exactly are we worried about? There is no need to be afraid or fearful when you have faith. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”(Hebrews 11:1) The God that we serve knows all of our daily struggles! There is no need to worry about how you can’t get something done, what’s going to happen, or afraid of what’s coming. The main thing that we all must do is to keep our eye on the prize. God wants to see all of us progress and be fully satisfied. A famous quote by Helen Keller that relates to this subject is, “It is for us to pray not for tasks equal to our powers, but for powers equal to our tasks, to go forward with a great desire forever beating at the door of our hearts as we travel toward our distant goal.” Do not be afraid of tomorrow or the things that seem distant. God has a special plan for us all. All we need to do is continue the course and keep focus. I want to personally encourage each one of you to cast out all fear for God is love! Until next time 🙂
