Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
A Time for Everything
1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
Timing is everything and a key essential in life. What to do when is often a question that we ask ourselves daily. Planning is very important if we want to succeed in life. Without goals and ambition then you are sure to stay stagnant in your life. A famous quote from Malcolm X which applies to this subject is, “If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything.” Know who you are and use your time wisely! The verse aforementioned above lets us know that in life, this TOO shall pass. No matter what you are going through remember, there are times when certain things will come to be and also a time when you shall see it all pass. This should be something reassuring for all of us. As time goes on and we get older I’m sure that you may think of times in the past that seemed stressful which appear now so trivial. The key to mastering life and time is to keep moving forward. Time will keep moving forward so why shouldn’t you? No matter how tough the situation may seem now remember this too shall pass! Your yesterday does not determine your tomorrow! Progression means a movement toward a goal or to a further or higher stage. God wants us all to reach our ultimate level of success and achievement! God has already opened a door for us; all we have to do is let nothing deter us from getting there! I encourage you to let no one steal your joy! Remember the only person who can stop you from achieving your goals is YOU! Tomorrow is not promised to any of us so let us make our marks in the world starting today! It’s GO Time! Let’s go J .
Very well put. One thing I have learned is that no matter what is going on in my personal life, the rest of the world still goes on. Time will still pass. So instead of dwelling on past mistakes or wasting time on things I cannot change, I have learned to press forward no matter what and achieve my goals!
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13-14
I love this post, well done 🙂
Whew! Can't even really put into words how I really feel about this one. God bless you for you words of encouragement and 'unspoken truth'…with all these false prophesies, sometimes it's hard not to fall victim to negativity in the midst of struggles. I've always kept a huge poster in my room that I made in high school that reads,"Don't let ANYONE steal your joy!" Glad to know I'm not the only one that thinks that way.
Good day, Miss Day! :o)
